BounceLayer Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the BounceLayer website, REST APIs, MCP tools, and dashboard services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Permitted Use & Fair Access

BounceLayer provides email validation infrastructure designed for deliverability verification, spam prevention, and data hygiene. You agree NOT to use the service for:

• Harvesting or brute-forcing recipient mailboxes on third-party servers.
• Circumventing rate limits or denial-of-service against destination Mail Exchangers.
• Facilitating unsolicited bulk commercial email (SPAM) in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or CASL regulations.

3. Credit Billing & Fair Billing Policy

BounceLayer operates on a transparent unit-priced credit model:

• Standard deduction (1 credit deducted): 1 credit is deducted for each definitive deliverability verdict (valid, invalid, catch_all, and do_not_mail).
• Unknown Results are 100% Free (0 credits deducted): If a remote mail server is unreachable, times out, or triggers strict greylisting returning unknown, 0 credits are charged and any reserved bulk credits are immediately refunded to your balance.
• Credit Expiration: Purchased pay-as-you-go credits and top-up packs never expire. Monthly plan credits auto-renew each billing cycle.

4. API Availability & Rate Limits

BounceLayer strives for 99.9% API uptime. Free accounts are limited to 10 requests per minute; paid tiers receive increased limits up to 1,500 requests per minute with distributed Taskiq worker scaling.
